About

I have loved exercise and sport from an early age so the British Army was the natural career in which to combine fitness, teamwork and leadership. I was fortunate to work with great people who both inspired me and taught me how to motivate others which is a fundamental part of an officer’s role.

I had some significant moments during my nine and a half years in the British Army including deploying to Iraq as part of Operation TELIC; deploying to Cyprus as part of the United Nations Peacekeeping Force; captaining the winning team in the United Nations Forces in Cyprus (UNFICYP) Military Skills Competition; being one of the first female Captains of the Guard at Windsor Castle; female Army Squash Champion (2008) and riding Her Majesty The Queen’s horses on State Ceremonial parades.

One of the key things all of this has taught me is that you can achieve a significant amount more than you think you can. This mind-set has helped me complete a number of Ultramarathons including being part of the team of four who held the 100km Trailwalker UK female record for 10 years.

My goal is to combine the expert knowledge I’ve gained as a Premier qualified Personal Trainer with these experiences to help motivate you to go that bit further than you think you can in a supportive, not drillmaster, way so that you can achieve your goals.

I truly believe it is possible, and important, to balance the demands of daily life with getting fit to help you feel better in yourself. As a 45-year-old working mother of three, I really do understand this and work with mothers, fathers and grandparents to help realize their health and fitness ambitions.
